Making Shared Custody Work
During this interactive psycho/ educational group experience we will discuss the prototypes of current custody schedules and the methodology that needs to be implemented to make them work out in the best interest of the children. The legal perspective and co- parenting approach will be highlighted. The entire family needs to learn the “Art of Compromise” to make shared custody schedules work effectively. You must attend session one to participate in session 2. The Open Door reserves the right to screen all applicants for participation in this group process. If you are currently involved in custody litigation and any of the presenters are involved in the litigation process you cannot register for this selection. Cost for both sessions is $70.

Cinderella Doesn’t Live Here Anymore
Roles of women have drastically changed in our society over the past 50 years, or have they? This psycho/educational group experience will examine the roles of women in society both in the work place and in the home. The need for women to establish a sense of self, confounding variables effecting self-discover and the implications will be explored. 1-90 minute session at $50.00.

Raising a Collegiate Athelete
The all American Dream, to have a child participate in collegiate athletics and get a college scholarship. For many this soon becomes an All American Nightmare. This psycho/educational group will focus on how to stay grounded as a family and focused on your children’s best interest during their athletic development and the recruiting process. 1- 90 minute session at $50.00.

It’s Time to get to Post High School Training. Is your young adult ready?
High school graduation is around the corner. What is the plan? Post- secondary education carries with it a fairly high price tag. Moving forward without an effective plan is like taking your life savings to a casino. In this psychoeducational group you will learn how to hedge your bet by learning how to strategically plan to be marketable after the learning process is over. Construct a plan and be realistic about the goals that are set. 1-90 minute session at $50.00.

The Cycle of Addiction
We all have family and friends whose lives have been touched by some form of addiction. IN this psycho/educational group you will gain an understanding of the philosophy behind the addiction process and the impact it has on individuals, families and relationships. 1- 90 minute session at $50.00.
